Coombe Castle Clotted Cream 6oz

It's always a bit frustrating to order clotted cream in a long-life jar like this, when you're comparing it to the fresh product you'd get in the UK. Obviously there's no comparison. But these little bottles are consistent, they last a long time, and they remind us of the real thing. I'm always a little torn because it's an expensive habit, but scones without clotted cream just don't taste right to me. I'll continue to order a jar every now and then, and console myself that it beats standing in line at the airport which is the alternative. I do know of people who make their own using local milk, but I think I'd rather take the airplane flight than make my own double cream. Each to his taste. Anyway these jars of cream are consistent and good.
